Starting the year out with a couple of red Fullblood bull calves. Cow pictured calved in March last year so she made up some time and it’s her daughter that calved last week. Turning off cold tomorrow so taking advantage and and getting hay rolled out and set an alfalfa bale out.

Taking advantage of the last nice day of the year to get some hay stockpiled for the winter pasture majority of the cows are at. Bringing in a couple loads of alfalfa next week and should be good until time to move them.

A little late posting, spent Sunday afternoon working on fence and stacking hay. Got done and checked a few halfblood moderators calving a little earlier than usual but weather is cooperating.
