2016, it was the year that gold foil ran supreme. I was 23 (a baby) working for the amazing , and getting married to my high school sweetheart. I get asked all the time if I made my own wedding cake, and the answer is yes. I spent the week of my wedding making it. Do I recommend, probably not. But it was the era of DIY brides and I was definitely one of them 😂
