📣 Attention All TDCJ Staff

On July 13, 2026, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice is transitioning to the state-mandated Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).

CAPPS will provide all agency employees with real-time, self-service access to view and update their personal information. After this transition, all agency employees will be required to enter their time in CAPPS.

Additionally, using CAPPS, employees can:

•Check time balances
•Access paystubs
•View W-2s
•Update W-4 Elections

TDCJ is committed to supporting every employee through this transition. Stay tuned for updates via email, digital signage and our social media channels.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from the Bartlett Innovation Unit! 🇺🇸

Today was filled with great food, great company, and even greater appreciation for our incredible staff. From hot dogs, hamburgers, and grilled chicken to pasta and so much more, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved holiday meal together.

A special thank you to Officer Loerakker for, once again, doing an outstanding job preparing the food. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the staff members who generously contributed dishes and helped make today’s celebration possible.

We hope everyone had a safe, enjoyable, and Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸🎆
