Great visit with our partners at the UK's National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC). Based at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, it is a collaborative project funded by the UK government to deploy digital pathology across the NHS and develop artificial intelligence (AI) tools for cancer diagnosis. Structured operative data represents a solvable problem with transformative potential. The technology exists. The incentives are aligning. The regulatory environment increasingly demands it.
