Rudy Fratus, Mike Healy and Bill Flynn were happy to represent Coastal Community Capital at the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting yesterday at Sea Crest Beach Hotel in Falmouth! It was a great opportunity to join leaders and influencers from across Cape Cod’s business community as we celebrated new and outdoing board of directors, and looked ahead to the opportunity and positive change shaping the region’s future. Thank you to the Cape Cod Chamber for bringing the community together for an inspiring evening of connection, collaboration and vision.

Last week, Coastal Community Capital President Mike Healy and SVP Nick Johnas attended the NADCO: National Association of Development Companies 2026 Spring Summit in Washington, DC. We enjoyed connecting with the entire NADCO team, along with many of our SBA partners and CDC colleagues from across the country.

The event was kicked off by Kelly Loeffler, who spoke about the importance of the SBA 504 Loan Program as a powerful tool for investing in businesses, supporting entrepreneurs, and driving American economic strength. NADCO also honored Nydia Velázquez with the 2026 NADCO Hall of Fame Award in recognition of her decades of leadership and advocacy for the 504 Program and small businesses nationwide. Congresswoman Velázquez captured the mission of the SBA and CDCs like Coastal perfectly when she noted: “Access to capital is access to opportunity.”
