We've reached that special time of year where...

🌡️ You don't walk outside......you get introduced to the atmosphere.

The weather forecast continues to read:
🔥 Hot.
🔥 Still hot.
🔥 Tomorrow? Surprisingly...also hot.

At this point, stepping outside feels less like going outdoors and more like preheating the oven with the broiler on high!!!!!!

So while we're all waiting on Mother Nature to locate the furnace "OFF" switch, here's your friendly reminder:

💧 Drink water before you're thirsty.
🧂 Replace electrolytes if you're working or playing outside.
🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
👵 Check on elderly family members and neighbors.
🐾 Make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water and shade.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle—not even "just for a minute."

Remember, heat exhaustion and heat stroke are medical emergencies. If someone becomes confused, stops sweating, develops a high body temperature, or loses consciousness, call 911 immediately.

Until this disrespectful heat wave decides to pack its bags........Stay hydrated, stay cool, and try not to argue with the thermostat, it's working as hard as it can.
