Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre has appointed Father John ‘Segun Odeyemi, a priest of the Diocese of Ilorin, Nigeria, as the new director of the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry.

Father Odeyemi, who will join the archdiocesan staff in August, succeeds M. Annette Mandley-Turner, who led the office for more than three decades.

St. Monica Parish Family offer our prayers and condolences to Joseph "Tut" Douglas and his family as they prepare to lay his nephew Carl Douglas to rest. Carl passed away early this morning. Funeral arrangements are pending.

May his soul rest in the eternal light of God and may his family be comforted.
