Quick turnaround project for a long time customer. I even got to play Sparky and hook up the wiring. Nothing started on fire, so I consider that a win. Off to Minnesota to be hung on an office wall.

Finished up a project this week that featured full inset doors and drawer fronts. White oak accents on the painted cabinets and all the bath cabinets were rift sawn and quarter sawn white oak.

Worked on making a couple planters this weekend. Small one is for our front porch and the large one is for a customers storefront in the Dells. Large one will be covered in cedar and stained/ sealed black.

Happy Easter morning in the shop. Finishing up some drawer box fronts, a wine cooler door, 2 notches drawer boxes, and started a steel base that I'm not sure what it will look like when done.

Installed the back panel, toekicks, shelves, and wood tops today. The bathroom storage cabinet is coming together nicely back at the shop. It has been a challenge, but I think it will be worth it when it's done.

Finished the little wood stand. I am going to get it on the website soon, and hopefully it will be on display for sale at RIVER Floral. Gift down on the square in Baraboo.

Instead of watching literal paint dry in the booth I decided to spray some clear on a project I started a few weeks ago. Of course once you spray you also have to sand between every coat. Good times, but is going to be a pretty cool stand when it's done.

Prepping parts for some doors and drawer fronts for a bar project we are working on. Whitewashed ash frame with aluminum trim and re sawn old growth pine slats.

Spent yesterday and part of today installing some cabinets and the fireplace surround from a past post. It all came together as it should. Next pieces to build and install will be the shelves, mantel, and doors.

Amongst all the chaos of the shop there are photos on the wall that remind me of what life is really about. Love my life.

Had a neighbor bring me this piece of wood that has been on her property for as long as she can remember. She would like it to look like a piece of art that she can display, without getting rid of too much character. Follow along and let's see what happens. This kind of stuff is why I do what I do.

Early morning making custom trap nuts for Legacy20 Arena in Middleton. Apparently the WIAA hockey tournament got a little heated and a section of bleachers were removed from their place by the fans. This will not happen again once repaired this way. Not a challenge, just a fact.
