Bar Harbor is committed to making our streets safer for everyone-whether you walk, bike, drive, or use transit. The DRAFT Vision Zero Safety Action Plan outlines strategies and recommendations to eliminate severe injuries and fatalities on our roadways by 2035.

We are looking for your feedback on the DRAFT Vision Zero Safety Action Plan. A public feedback session will be held on February 5 at 6:00 PM at the Annex at Side Street Cafe.

Due to a technological error, the April 24 Planning Board Moratorium Workshop recording was lost. The Planning Staff decided to re-record the public safety panel portion of the meeting on May 21, due to the valuable information provided in the panel.
You can access the re-recording of the panel on Town Hall Streams for May 21, 2025.
