i’ve spent years thinking about the gap between the Support families need and the support they actually receive

One person can’t do it all. Families need lactation experts. They also need nurses, doulas, childbirth educators, Midwives, pediatricians, ect. Who feel confident having feeding conversations, recognizing red flags, and helping them find the support they need.

The future of Lactation support isn’t about creating more experts in Silos.

It’s about strengthening the network of professionals who are already working alongside families every day.

applications for Bridge Summer Camp are officially open, and I’m awarding scholarships this week.we start July 15.

As I am putting Summer Camp together, I keep getting excited about what could change between July and Labor Day if more birthworkers felt confident supporting breastfeeding and pumping families.

If you know a doula, nurse, childbirth educator, postpartum professional, or other birthworker who would be a great fit, I’d be so grateful if you’d share it with them.
