Oh What Fun!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU Safe Streets Baltimore CherryHill for a beautiful event. After all of these years, I finally got to give back to a beautiful community that gave my children a wonderful childhood when I couldn't. 17 amazing residents received free training. Today I signed up 17 beautiful Cherry Hill residents for my August 3rd Celeebrate Us Workforce Training cohort. They signed up for Culinary, Vetinarian Assistant, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, CDL-A, CNA, and Sterile Processing Technician. I even ran into a celebrity 😂😂😂 😂😂 the hard working Dwayne M Benbow Jr. Special shout out to Mr. Maith, Mr. Wilson and the entire Safe Streets Cherry Hill team for welcoming me with open arms.

Here's your Celebrate Us Workforce Training "Career Corner" moment. Everyone is interested in getting into their bag. That's an excellent idea. Start a conversation with your children before school starts on the most effective way to "SECURE" a bag. Encourage your young scholars that the harder they hit the "BOOKS" the bigger their bag will become. That's why it's called a book bag 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂. You're welcome!!!!!!

All in God's time!!!! Three years ago I wanted to work with SafeStreets CherryHill . Three years ago, I didn't have enough chin hairs 😂 😂 😂 😂. Well it's official, I have plenty of chin hairs and now I am also officially a Celeebrate Us Workforce Training Safe Streets partner and vendor. . Thank you Safe Streets. My beautiful three children were raised and educated in Cherry Hill. Cherry Hill is very important to me. Besides the first man that ever loved me was born in Cherry Hill. This is not business, this is personal. I even ran into my beautiful graduate Deja. Thank you God.

This Celeebrate Us Workforce Training "Career Corner" moment recognizes the power of encouragement. One day my beautiful student called me to discuss a new career. I could tell by her tone that she was feeling a little discouraged. I immediately started encouraging her to take the TEAS exam instead of starting over. I was also intentional about celebrating all of her hard work getting through her prerequisites. I shared with her that she is sooooo close to the finish line. Just look at the classes she needed to pass to be able to sit for the TEAS exam. Less than a week later, I received a beautiful text from her with her TEAS exam grade. She "NAILED IT" 89.3%. Encouragement goes a long way.
