Wow – what an incredible weekend filled with so much comedy / learning / friends joining together to make this inaugural festival happen.

We wanted to take a moment to highlight the superheroes without whom this past weekend would never have been possible.

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who stepped in to help the XFEST committee create a gracious, open and innovative space for women and other gender minorities to be funny as hell this weekend. We could not have done it without you! Special shout out to Ti Coleman and committee member Rasheed Green for conducting a free intro to improv workshop for q***r youth. Thank you for being welcoming ambassadors and teachers!

We'd like to give an especially big shout out to tech extraordinaire: Hannah Jeffrey! Hannah, you were a true rock star this weekend.

We would be remiss to not mention the out of this world house staff and managers who insured that the festival ran without a hitch! THANK YOU.

And of course, thank you to all of the XFEST committee members for making it all happen, the performers and teachers who came from all over the country, the donors who supported the festival, and the Baltimore Improv Group for hosting XFEST and giving us this opportunity.

We have heard from countless audience members and performers about how special and inspiring the festival was. Thank you all for creating something truly innovative, beautiful, and hilarious.
