When I tell you that the key to hitting that inverted blast at the end was NOT LISTENING TO MYSELF lol, know that I am confused by that, too. Of my 30+ years playing drums, maybe 0.1% has been spent working on blast beats. Nearly all of that work was in the last 7-8 years when I joined , and always in (small) fits and starts. It’s the strangest thing to be back almost at kid-status of not questioning success on some fast bullsh..but just as awesome to understand it’s now a lesson learned rather than blissful ignorance
