I have very little attachment to my paintings once I complete them. Im stuck on the process as torturous as it is . I often wonder if this really is a gift , because most days I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy .

I’ll sit with this painting for a few days . After that , I’ll start feeling uneasy . I’ll become hyper focused ; getting lost in my own head mid conversation.
Then , I’ll sit back down and figure it all out again
