Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, a cultural arts worker who employs humor and satire to examine myths about American Indian life, is this year’s Undergraduate Commencement Honorary Degree recipient. Her work as an artist, curator, lecturer, printmaker, professor, and mentor has accrued multiple honors, awards, and fellowships throughout the past 40 years, and has shown in over 700 exhibitions worldwide.
