Destiny, a senior at ACE High School who spent seven years with Harlem Lacrosse, wasn't always comfortable opening up to those around her. Through TouchPoint, she found the space to build her voice—and learned that communication is everything.
Connecting with mentors and hearing their own experiences inspired Destiny to explore what's out there for her and start shaping her plans after high school.
We're so proud of the growth Destiny has shown, and we can't wait to see where her voice takes her next!
Lamar, a senior with Harlem Lacrosse, shares how his experiences with TouchPoint helped him find his voice and gave him inspiration for his future.
Lamar has gained confidence as a communicator and improved his time management skills, while taking advantage of opportunities to network and explore different career paths.
This fall, Lamar will head to college to pursue a degree in Architecture. We’re so proud of the foundation he’s built and we can’t wait to see all the great things he will continue to achieve!
