We are Hippocrates Medical Review, a student-run medical journal that aims to humanize medicine to make it accessible to those who need the information the most—the patient.

We aim to improve population health by tackling the information gap between patients and providers, and empowering the public with increased healthcare literacy.

Erica Tran is a second year medical student at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She grew up in the California Bay Area and received her bachelors at UC Berkeley, where she majored in Molecular & Cell Biology. Erika took one gap year where she tutored and scribed. She is currently interested in specialties including IM, FM, PM&R, and anesthesiology. Outside of school, Erica enjoys sports, food, aesthetic places, and deep conversations. Come to HMR’s panel this Tuesday to ask Erica some questions!
