"Job Readiness" is one of the many categories we cover in our new and improved curriculum. During our "Motivational Monday's" we focus on encouraging our youth through affirmations, physical and mental wellness activities, our "Say Something Nice" wall, and job readiness skills.

Our monthly topic is "interviewing" and this weeks sub topic is "attire". We discussed what's proper and improper to wear during interviews. Following the group discussion, we engaged in a activity where the youth worked in groups and had to skim through the magazines and find pictures of proper interview clothing to dress up their paper dolls. This activity was fun and the youth were very creative. Great job guys👍🏽💼👩🏿‍💼👨‍💼.

As a business owner and youth advocate, I take pride in learning all that I can about the populations I work with. Our younger generations are constantly changing, so I must as they say "keep up". This podcast really put somethings in perspective for me, especially since my middle schoolers drove me crazy this week😂😂😂. Thank you . You're awesome for this podcast🤩🤩
