People aren't going to remember the sequined tablecloths, mile-high florals or embellished ghost chairs. They'll remember that the event was 2 hours behind, the line for the bar was excruciating, their food was cold when it was plated (because you were 2 hours behind) or that they had to stop at Popeye's to grab something to eat because they got tired of waiting and left.
