Job Responsibilities

- Review paperwork for what has to be loaded and verify piece counts
- Verify that material you load matches what is on your paperwork
- Once material is loaded make sure you initial and date what you physically put on the truck
- Using overhead crane, load trucks in proper delivery sequence
- When required, move truck to next staging area.
- Check dock for any items not loaded
- Notify Foreman of any missing items
- If load is heavy make sure you take it to the scale to weigh it
- Make sure the truck is loaded safely to hit the road
- Clean work area
- Other duties as assigned

Skills Requirements

- Knowledge of products and warehouse operations
- Strong shop math – must be able to read tape measure
- Able to read and understand work orders
- Experience on overhead cranes
- Must be able to jockey trucks thru the warehouse
