Baltimore City is taking applications for the next Community Action Lab! This 12-week, paid, in-person leadership course will help engaged residents and emerging leaders build safer, healthier neighborhoods in Southeast Baltimore by equipping them with skills, partnerships, and data tools. From August 31 - November 20, participants will examine evidence-backed methods for community-led development and implement their own grant-funded improvement projects.

The Community Action Lab is a partnership between the Baltimore Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement-MONSE, the Baltimore Police Department, and the Baltimore City Innovation Team (i-Team) as part of the City's Neighborhood Public Safety Plan. It is informed by insights from the University of Baltimore, the Newark Public Safety Collaborative (NPSC), and SafeGrowth.

The Summer Food Service Program is underway across Baltimore City and Maryland, running from June 22 through August 21. This program provides FREE weekday lunches to students under the age of 18 throughout the summer. There are multiple sites across Baltimore City where students can enjoy a free, nutritious lunch while school is out.
