"With a kind regards of Liliʻuokalani of Hawaii" Hawaiiʻs Story by Hawaiiʻs Queen The Hawaiian and Pacific Collection at Hamilton Library is honored to be the guardian of three signed copies of Hawaiiʻs Story by Hawaiiʻs Queen Liliʻuokalani, each one signed by the Queen herself. These books are a powerful record of the Queenʻs efforts to tell the story of Hawaii and seek restoration of the Kingdom. She personally sent these to influential people in Hawaiʻi and on the continent, sharing her account of events following the illegal overthrow.
