This is a very old piece I made in 2016, inspired by the legal scrutiny DACA was facing at that time. The stamped words in the top left corner are direct quotes from our president Trump and other politicians in office that are not only degrading but also reinforcing negative stereotypes about people of color. It breaks my heart every single time this piece becomes relevant again and is a reminder that this country was built off the bloodshed of people of color, hate, and greed. In light of President Trump sending 2,000 National Guard troops and 500 marines to California AGAINST the governors wishes, I’m resharing this piece. Our military should NOT be policing our own people for protesting the inhumane and disgusting treatment of immigrants. We need to continue to fight, use our voices to speak for those who can’t, and protect our neighbors. La esperanza muere ultima, hope dies last.

I haven’t posted in a while but here’s a video I put together yesterday. A very very quick and summarized version of the creation of my big baby, Earthly Delights. Months of work compressed into a couple minutes, I love it!

Half of her head is done! I’m tempted to make all of her hair dark brown because of how much I hate painting blonde 😭
