Wilderness Individual Leadership & Development

It’s spring so we’re getting outdoors around Baltimore! Thanks to for a fantastic educational program on wilderness survival- we got to practice skills like fire starting, shelter building, and filtering water. AND it was everyone’s first time visiting Irvine. It’s so rewarding to connect youth to new outdoor spaces!

Another service project some of our WILD groups volunteered this summer was helping in the Capitol Reef historic orchards! Thanks to the NPS for having us and taking the time for an educational demonstration on horticulture 🙏
