It is with heavy hearts that we write that last week, we lost one of our regulars, Bear.

If you knew Bear, you knew his enthusiasm. He’d drag his mom through the gates, so excited to get into the park, and greet you with one of his signature tackle hugs. He never met a stranger, just friends who hadn’t pet him yet, and if someone else was getting attention, he was happy to remind them he deserved some love too. He loved hanging out in the office, barking hello to every dog and person who came through the gates. We always joked he was training to be an official member of the Bark Social team.

To Bear’s family, thank you for sharing him with us and letting us be part of his life. We’re so grateful to have known him.

Run free, Bear. We’ll miss your hugs, your smile, and your “employee shifts” more than words can say. Thank you for making Bark Social a happier place. 🐕❤️🌈
