Girl in Space Club is redefining who gets to be seen as a maker, a builder, and a visionary.
Founded by a Black woman engineer whose career at NASA placed Black excellence at the highest levels of technical rigor, from designing orbits to shaping systems that operate in outer space, Girl in Space Club carries that legacy forward on Earth. The brand makes innovation visible and culturally alive, showing that engineering can look like art, science can live in fashion, and creativity never has to be separated from culture.
Rooted in imagination, intellect, and representation, Girl in Space Club reminds us that Black creativity itself is powerful technology.

All month, Made in Baltimore is spotlighting Black-owned business members by honoring the Black voices and historical figures that influence our work.
This week we're featuring Five O' Clock Co, inspired by Dr. Nathaniel H. Bronner, Sr. and Arthur E. Bronner, Sr., founders of Bronner Brothers. They built more than a brand they built legacy. Their commitment to education, economic empowerment, quality, and cultural pride created a blueprint for what generational ownership can look like.
Five O’ Clock Co. is rooted in that same spirit serving our community, honoring the craft, and creating opportunity through entrepreneurship.
