Only 2 days left to apply as a You Belong mentor! Applications for the MLA You Belong Scholar Program close this Sunday, June 21.
We're pairing Missouri library professionals with emerging scholars from historically underrepresented communities, and we still need mentors for our second cohort. You just need 5+ years of library experience, an active MLA membership, and a willingness to meet with your mentee once a month for a year. Remote meetings are welcome.
In return: your travel to the You Belong Leadership Academy on October 5 in Springfield is covered, and you'll receive an $800 stipend in July 2027.
