COWARDS

For years, Frank Rossi, his sister, and their supporters did everything they could to assault the characters of Liz Kormos and Ben Baskin, two individuals who whether you agreed with every word they said or not worked hard for our community. In fact, they continued those attacks tonight. In every meeting for the past several years there were shouts, sneers, snickers and interruptions by Rossi supporters that were ignored, excused, and often cheered by Frank Rossi. He even once gave a powerpoint presentation at a Village meeting specifically designed and not at all disguised to beat Liz’s character down.

Tonight, Liz and Ben were on the agenda for appointments as alternates to the Planning Board, after another round of assaults in the media from Frank, who insisted there were not enough applicants who live in the Village. And rather than take a vote on the merits on the motion, rather than go on the record, the Board voted to table the motions.

I called them cowards. One word. After years of outburst from Rossi supporters. And Frank called the police. Because yelling out in his support is great. But one word against him is more than his ego can take.

If you think the Village Police (who were quite polite, I’ll add) are enough to intimidate me into silence, you don’t know me.
