This young client came in wanting his 2-strand twists taken out and redone… but once I got into his hair, I realized the twists had fully locked together underneath. At that point we had two options:
✨ Comb them out (which would’ve taken hours… if not days), or
✨ Work with the new growth, re-section, maintain the locks, and create fresh 2-strand twists from the newly groomed dreadlocks.
He chose the second option — and honestly, it came out so clean. 🙌🏽
