This is our personal kitchen after a flood around Thanksgiving when we were away from the house. Obstacles to this on-going journey continue to include a full-time job, over-time to purchase materials, a four month fight with insurance (thankfully resolved), handbuilt cabinetry from the garage, and concurrently attending a hybrid/self guided paramedic school online. I keep telling myself "slowly but surely" everytime I come home from work and swap the batteries in my tools to start again where I left off the couple days prior. Its a relief to finally see something that once again is beginning to resemble a functional kitchen.
