Many people assume anxiety looks like panic attacks, constant fear, or being unable to function.

But some of the most anxious people I work with are highly capable.

They have careers.

They care for families.

They manage households.

They show up for everyone around them.

And they're exhausted.

High-functioning anxiety often hides behind achievement, responsibility, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. Because things are still getting done, many people convince themselves they should just "push through it."

But carrying constant worry, pressure, and mental load takes a toll.

You don't have to wait until you're burned out or overwhelmed to seek support.

If you're tired of always feeling "on," therapy can help.

I currently have openings for adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and life transitions.

You thought you were "just busy," but your nervous system has entered the group chat.

Sometimes our mental health doesn't wave a giant red flag, it whispers.

Maybe you're sleeping all the time, snapping at everyone, avoiding texts, or suddenly losing interest in things you normally enjoy.

These aren't reasons to judge yourself.
They're clues.

Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?"
Try asking, "What is my mind and body trying to tell me?"

Save this post as your reminder to check in with yourself, often.

Everyone knows they can count on you.

You're the one who remembers the appointments, handles the emergencies, checks on everyone else, and somehow keeps all the moving pieces together.

From the outside, it looks like you're managing just fine.

What people don't see is the mental load you're carrying.

The endless to-do lists running through your head at 2 a.m.

The pressure to keep everything from falling apart.

The exhaustion that comes from being the one everyone depends on.

The guilt you feel when you need help yourself.

Many of the people I work with don't think they're "struggling enough" for therapy because they're still functioning.

They're still going to work.
Still taking care of their families.
Still showing up for everyone else.

But functioning and thriving are not the same thing.

You don't have to wait until you're completely burned out to get support.

If you're tired of carrying everything by yourself, therapy can help.

I currently have openings for adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and the challenges that come with always being the strong one.
