Hello! My name is Rachel Brenz. I am excited to serve students and families in a different way this upcoming school year as an Educational Diagnostician. I am coming from Eagle Heights Elementary where I taught for 9 years and previously taught in Norman, OK for 4 years. I recently graduated from Lamar University with a Masters in Special Education. I have been married to my husband and Azle alumni, Ryan, for almost 14 years. We have two children, Vincent (12) and Violet (4), who keep us busy with all the sports and activities. Although this school year will be filled with many changes for most, I am hopeful it will lead to many great outcomes! I canβt wait to meet everyone!

With twenty years of experience as a math teacher and diagnostician, I hold bachelor's and master's degrees from Tarleton State University.
Personally, I love time spent with family and friends, loving my pets, eating good foods, and exploring new places through road trips! I also love cheering on the Texas Rangers!
I look forward to building relationships with staff, and students! Go Hornets!ππ€

Last week on the last day of school Liberty recognized some wonderful teachers!
Notably, Mrs. Krenek was recognized as the campus Teacher of the Year. I was excited to see Mr. Poyfair and Mr. Colby receive special shoutouts from parents. Interestingly, all three recipients are exceptional structure teachers.
