Special shoutout to our Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) for their hard work at Follow the Flag this weekend. Our VIPS were busy connecting with the community by handing out glow sticks and goodie bags. Meanwhile, they proactively monitored the park and surrounding areas for any suspicious activity to report to our officers. We are so grateful for their dedication and service! 🇺🇸

Friendly reminder that fireworks are prohibited within Azle city limits. 🎆

As July 4 approaches, here's your annual reminder that fireworks are prohibited within Azle city limits. (Article 5.06 of the Code of Ordinances, if you want to verify)

If setting off fireworks is part of your holiday tradition, you'll need to celebrate with friends or family outside the city limits.

Thinking about taking your chances anyway? Just remember:
👮 Police officers will be out.
🔥 The Fire Marshal will be out.
📱 And your neighbors WILL call about it.

Want a much easier (and legal) option? Join us at Central Park for Follow the Flag, hosted by the Azle Ministerial Alliance, from 7–10 p.m.

Admission is free, and so are:
✅ The entertainment
✅ The food
✅ The fireworks

One more reminder: City parks are alcohol-free, so leave the cooler at home.
