After 40 hours, 3 different days, 4 different time slots (and lots of coffee!)… We finally got the Trucks race in this AM to help kick off one of the best days in racing.

Truthfully emotions were all over the place arriving in Charlotte on Friday. There were so many hugs, so many silent glances of shock… But also so much genuine care exchanged around every corner of the garages this weekend.

From pit road, to up in the booth and to our production team back at the control room, I’m so proud of what this NASCAR on FOX team pulled off together led by our Producer Rich Gross…

Congrats again to Layne Riggs, I’ll never get over watching your team take the “Rowdy Bow” at the checkered flag. 🤍

I hope everyone has a connected Memorial Day w/ all the people you love near and far…

Hard to believe this was 7 days ago right before we watched Kyle Busch put on an absolute masterclass for his 69th career Truck Series victory.

It’s no secret the sacrifices racing not only asks of the drivers but of the families and loved ones who stand beside them in every lap, every risk and every weekend away from home…

To the Busch family, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your son, your brother, your husband and your dad with all of us and allowing fans around the world to be part of an endless list of accolades and moments that will live on forever.

This big NASCAR family is together this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It is with heavy hearts and long hugs we race tonight in Kyle’s honor.
