This account has been silent for a long time but this feels worthy of a post for those of you who missed the newsletter.

I've been wearing many hats, sometimes all at the same time, for many years now, and this year I'm hanging up my photographer hat.

Thank you to all of you who have made this dream a reality over the last 13+ years. I had the most wonderful time because of all of you.

Always a favorite family to photograph. And as it turns out, someone is a budding little meteorologist. As they’re sitting on the porch he comments on the rain. It’s not raining and we all reassure him as such, just cloudy. He looks worried (about the rain) and moments later I feel the drops start. He couldn’t have felt them, he was under the cover of the porch, and he couldn’t have seen them because they hadn’t started yet. It was nowhere on the radar or forecast, either. He just knew. ☂️

Side note, this is reassurance that even when you think your toddler cold shouldered your photographer the entire session, we promise you they didn’t. 😉
