The AAPD Pediatric Dental Medicaid & CHIP Advisory Committee (PDMCAC) is currently attending the Medicaid-Medicare-CHIP State Dental Association (MSDA) Symposium 🪥 in Alexandria, Virginia.

Through interprofessional practice 🤝, the PDMCAC is collaborating with stakeholders from across the country representing state Medicaid agencies, oral health coalitions, and corporate sponsors to advocate on behalf of the optimal oral health of ALL children. 👶🏼👧🏾🧒🏻👦🏿

Now, more than ever before, we must join forces as an interdisciplinary partnership to protect Medicaid, promote oral health equity, and support our patients. 🫶🏼

From baby teeth to the board room! 🦷💻

After a full week of treating patients, Dr. B made a quick trip to the American Dental Association (ADA) Headquarters in Chicago to represent District 1 at the National Council on Communications Meeting where she was greeted with tooth socks and skyline views! 🌃

This is the first of 4 conferences in the month of May! Next stop… The Medicaid Medicare CHIP Oral Health Symposium in Alexandria, Virginia where Dr. B will be advocating for increased equity, improved quality, and expanded access to oral health care particularly for patients enrolled in Medicaid. 🪥
