Our June artist documentary sparked laughter, imagination, and play. “Beauty is Embarrassing” is an heart-warming, honest, and fun biography of the visual artist, art director, designer and more, Wayne White. From his earlier career designing music videos for Peter Gabriel (“Big Time”) and The Smashing Pumpkins (“Tonight, Tonight”) as well as puppeteer and voice-over actor on Pee-wee’s Playhouse. We got a glimpse of his creative process as well as his current day word paintings. He purchases flea market landscapes and adds beautifully painted words to bring humor to them. You just have to see it as it will inspire those who are on the creative path in life.

Los Angeles Magazine shared, “This movie ought to be required viewing not just for Oscar voters, but for every aspiring artist wondering how to build a life doing what they love.”

A friendly creature has been spotted in our garden. LP sculpted this beautiful frog from recycled materials and it’s bringing everyone a lot of joy!

Here are a few of our turmeric anthotype sun prints! It’s a trial and error process that is allowing everyone to learn a new medium while spending more time outdoors. Very beautiful and interesting results!
