Smoke This is ready to roll Saturday and Sunday, May 30 & 31. And, this weekend we will be in our hometown of Avella. If you have never experienced a Pow Wow, please join us at The Little A Town Arena in Avella. We are excited to be part of our first Pow Wow, and meeting more Avella neighbors, seeing all our followers, as well as new faces.

If you haven’t tried our signature pork or chicken parfaits, you’re in for a treat! Hope to see you this weekend, we enjoy feeding you!

Pow-Wow Mountain Man Rendezvous 2026 | Little A Town Arena Come celebrate culture, tradition, and the spirit of the Mountain Man! Bring your lawn chair, blanket and/or a pop-up tent and enjoy the day.

Is everyone over this rain? April shows bring May flowers is over! It’s time to plant those flowers. Oh, and can we get some of that rain once they are planted? I know I’m ready! And, the place to go to get your flowers and vegetables is Wagner’s Greenhouse on Skyline Drive in Hickory. If you have never been there, you need to stop. We have bought everything in our garden and yard for YEARS there! Healthy plants and great prices. And, it’s Mother’s Day weekend…and you know what that means…planting.

And, we’re happy to let you know that Smoke This will be there to feed you after you pick up your plants. We will have tents in case it rains…geez what’s the chances? And, we have takeout. Stop by, get your garden and yard ready for all the great plants at Wagner’s Greenhouse and stop by our truck, so you don’t go home hungry. And, you can also bring your husband home food in case he’s like mine, and says….you brought ALL that home? Oh, yea! Nothing like picking your own flowers to put in vases AND eating tomatoes from your garden, not those nasty things they call tomatoes in the store. Hope to see you! And, Happy Mother’s Day to all the hard working moms…that includes dog and cat moms!

If you’ve met our BBQ, you know that we take jabs at each other and anyone that jabs at us…lol. Well, our cookout jab went to Kristin this year. Last year, we presented Chris the award for the best sale…a black rock that was part of our display..lol. Well, this year…it’s Kristin’s turn…. We presented her with a personalized bubuska to go along with those delicious pierogies she made. And, have to give a shoutout to Krystle too, who worked along with Kristin to put out all those delicious pierogies that we are going to serve at the Fix ‘Ur Cat bingo.
