K9 Kain asked if he could go back to work last night, so we let him. Great work Kain! Another arrest made possible by our team of hard working K9's

K9 Yadi was utilized, when Deputy Harley and Deputy Nelson responded to a call. It was later learned illegal narcotics maybe present in the vehicle. Consent to search was denied, so K9 Yadi was deployed with a positive alert, with methamphetamine located. Though to some it may not look like much maybe this can be a turning point in someone's life.

We want to say a huge thank you to Archie's and their crew for their hospitality shown to us at the K9 Benefit. We are so fortunate to have a local restaurant that sees to the community and its needs. We will let you know as soon as we have a total!!

K9 Kain has been very busy the last two weeks at work, and is earning some extra belly scratches at home! In the last two weeks, K9 Kain has been utilized on 3 different traffic stops where methamphetamine and/or methamphetamine paraphernalia has been located. These 3 traffic stops have yielded a total of 5 Felony Drug Arrests for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, all of which would not have been possible without our hard working K9s.

Some look at this picture and think, "Wow big deal they found a gram of dope." We look at this picture and think, "Thank goodness this evil is off the streets! Thank goodness this little bit of "dope" won't end up in the hands of a young teen who is about to use for the first time."
