I think its gonna be a long long time before this mcintosh system has any problems after a full restoration with new tubes!
Tried to use the edits app for the first time... I'll get better
Pioneer RT-909 Pinch Roller replacement. Taking off the cosmetic ring to re-use on the new rollers. These are the first thing you check before using a reel-to-reel machine, Sometimes they are hard as rock and too smooth to work properly, sometimes they are literally melting off the bearing.

What a crazy thing to have in my shop. An early 1950s Mcintosh is now fully serviced and ready for sale with my buds sounds even better than it looks!
