It’s been a busy few weeks. I normally spend time doing my Bible studies in the morning before I get started with my day but today I decided to come and sit at a coffee shop before I head out to preview a home.

I was going to simply post a story saying “LOVING MY NEW BIBLE STUDY” until I saw the cup sitting in front of me.

FUEL YOUR STORY

Our life is like a book. Each chapter filled with twists and turns, highs and lows, reflection and anticipation. The only constant in every season of my life is the loving faithfulness and constant devotion of Jesus, my Savior-the One who was, is, and is to come.

My reminder this morning is that He is ever-present and because I know this, I can rest in the confidence that He is holding me in His hands.

So here’s my challenge to you. We cannot fuel our story until we fuel our souls. If you haven’t been prioritizing time in the mornings to renew your mind and set your gaze on the One who is writing the story of your life, take some time this week to sit with Him.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”

Revelation 3:20 is more than just a call to salvation. It’s a call to commune with the Father and when we sit with Him and give Him access to the deepest parts of us, we will never be the same in all the very best ways.
