HAPPY EARTH MONTH 🌎 We’re back for an afternoon of all-ages art workshops, outdoor DJ sets and community vibes during Pease Park Conservancy's Squirrel Fest—an annual day to celebrate Spring, Austin’s natural ecosystems and the city’s iconic native squirrel.

Stop by the park to enjoy curated eco-craft activities from The Front Market, alongside a public nighttime screening of “Zootopia” on Saturday, April 11 from 4 PM to 10 PM.

This year’s lineup includes:

★ Nature Painting Picnic with abstract artist Kayla Kennedy

★ Friendship Bracelets and Recycled Collage with Future Front

★ Spring Fairy Village Clay-Building with ceramicist Tanya Zal

★ All-ages Sun Prints and cyanotypes with multidisciplinary artist Luya Moreno

★ Afternoon DJ sets from Future Front Resident Artists Sonder and HoneyPocket

★ Curated menus and Food Truck pop-up by Five O' Four, Pickle Envy and Gem's Sweets

Free and open to the public. Family-friendly. Dog-friendly. Human-friendly. ❤️ No RSVP required. Just bring your own picnic blanket, water and snacks!

• April 12 — Community Talk: Public Art in Austin (with special guest Sharon Louden, in partnership with Raasin In The Sun and the Austin Airport Passenger Experience)

• April 18 — Play With Clay, Collage and Pencil featuring local
artists Tanya Zal, Brittany Bosco, Lu Farrell and Selina Wagner

• Every Friday @ Noon — Creative Community Office Hours with Future Front

INTRODUCING ANALOG ★ This Sunday, we’re taking over Tomo Mags for Women’s History Month during SXSW.

MARCH 15 SCHEDULE:

12 PM to 5 PM — Visit Tomo Mags’ indie magazine shop in downtown Austin with all-day DJ sets by resident artists & special guests.

5 PM TO 7 PM — Over a block-printing workshop, join a candid roundtable with Austin-local artists and musicians on their analog practices, vital third spaces and Texas history icons.
