BookPeople hosts more than 300 events annually, both in-store and offsite, and maintains active partnerships with nonprofits, schools, libraries, and other community venues. This role requires equal investment in events and marketing: planning and executing a high volume of events while proactively developing marketing programs that drive foot traffic, online sales, and passive revenue. The Marketing & Events Director is an organized and communicative leader who manages their time effectively across both areas, holds their team accountable to sustainable, future-focused goals, and fosters a collaborative and creative department culture.⁠
