Meet Nicole. 🧵

As a self-taught sewist, Nicole believes sewing is more than just a practical skill. It’s a way to build confidence, express creativity, and connect with your community.

Her Intro to Sewing class is designed to take the intimidation out of getting started. Whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or you’re finally ready to learn, Nicole’s goal is simple: help you leave feeling confident enough to keep creating on your own.

If sewing has been on your “one day...” list, maybe this is your sign.

Explore upcoming sewing and textiles classes on our Events page. We’d love to see you in the studio. ✨

This BIPOC Mental Health Month, we’re celebrating creatives whose work reminds us that making is more than a finished piece.

It’s a way to tell stories.
To express identity.
To process emotions.
To build community.
To imagine something better.

Whether it’s through architecture, ceramics, poetry, fashion, or design, creativity has long been a powerful form of self-expression.

Here’s to the artists, makers, and creators who continue to inspire us, and to everyone finding their own way to create. 💛

Everyone starts somewhere.

That’s what our Intro to Sewing class is all about. Learning the fundamentals, asking lots of questions, making a few mistakes, and leaving a little more confident than when you walked in.

If sewing has been on your “I’ve always wanted to try that” list, this is your sign. 🧵

Check out our upcoming classes on the website and come make something with us.
