I’m still working behind the scenes to finish the book but I really wanted a little dopamine boost to help me get to the finish line. I’m so pleased with it and it fits the aesthetic of the universe beautifully. Plus all three covers look gorgeous together. (At least… I think so 😅)

But the real threat is how fast he becomes loyal - how deeply he attaches once he lets someone in.
He’s the kind of MMC who would destroy a city for you and apologise after.

And yes... unfortunately as a millennial I have always had a place in my heart for John Leguizamo in Romeo & Juliette as Tybalt. So when I pictured this character I pictured him. Sharp dresser, filled with bravado, loyal but still... somewhere inside is a soft and vulnerable kitten.

Ten years ago I walked into a tattoo shop in Austin with my (new) husband and got a couple of matching wedding day tattoos.

If you'd have told me then, that I'd write a vampire romance inspired by the place I'd have laughed, but yet here we are. A decade later. My first book is out in the world and there are many more to come.
