☀ Opening next week! Our Summer Youth Theatre Program presents the world premiere of - Summer Underground - Written by Marissa Castañón-Hernández, and Directed by Blaise Ricin - Shows run July 24 - August 1, 2026

👉 This play is set in Austin in the not too distant future and styled with “graphic novel” flair. Summer Underground firmly takes on environmental and class issues that determine who receives water and shelter.

Performed by our Summer Youth Theatre, our award-winning youth program that gives students the opportunity to participate in creating high-caliber professional theatre productions. Every year, students work with adult artists who are among Austin’s most celebrated theatre professionals.
