🧩 Happy World Autism Day.
I was officially diagnosed with High Functioning Autism last year, after decades of confusion, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm.
Growing up in the ’80s & ’90s, nobody around me really knew what autism was. I was just “shy,” “lazy,” or “too sensitive.” But now I know: I was masking. I was surviving. And I’m still here.
Today, I honor my fellow warriors.
I see you.
I hear you.
I feel you.
I love you.
