Treat the News of The Messiah like the Shepherds Did!

The shepherds were the last people anyone would have thought the great news of the Messiah’s arrival would have been proclaimed. Lonely cast aways that God chose to announce the Saviors arrival? Long awaited arrival?
YET……..God Did!
They saw, they heard, they listened, they believed, they trusted, they obeyed and they WENT!
They WENT to see as was requested, leaving their sheep; they witnessed the Messiah, they worshipped Him and then WENT to share the truth and the people who heard them were amazed.
Luke 2:17-18

Be more interested in the process than your position!
Proclaim despite the possible persecution!
God will place you in the position He desires so the process of maturity will take place. That takes ultimate trust that allows obedience to become natural and not forced and then WENT! That means going to share. But do so with Humility and care!

Remember, Jesus words in Matthew, where do you want to sit? Those who want to be first will be last and those willing to be last will be first.
REMEMBER THE SHEPHERDS……………They saw, they heard, they listened, they believed, they trusted, they obeyed and they WENT!

PAUSE……………
May we pause to recognize the gift the world received over 2000 years ago,
May we stay in that pause to acknowledge the present of peace we have today,
May we remain in that pause to appreciate the hope we have for the future!

Pause with the Prince of Peace!
Walk with the Wonderful Counselor!
Linger with the Lord of Lords!
Enjoy time with the Everlasting Father!
Marvel at the present of the Mighty God!

The Greatest Gift given, remains Present with us today and Provides hope in the future!
HE DID IT!
