Falcon Coffees

Our teams from Malaysia and Austin travelled through western and southern Ethiopia to discover more about the ongoing harvest and coffee quality.

In western Ethiopia, farmers are busy harvesting, and we found promising cherry quality despite comparatively elevated cherry prices at the stations. Thanks to favourable weather conditions, good volumes of both natural and washed coffees will be available.

In southern Ethiopia, prices are higher due to lower yields, and producers are currently focusing more on natural processing. This is expected to put increased pressure on washed coffees from the west.
