Velvet is so rich and shimmery, I'm always afraid to embellish it!
But I decided to experiment and rhinestone the edge here with a simple pattern just for a bit of pop. And I added the perfect color matching stones to the sash/belt in a random scatter.
You can see the lacey bit underneath is all sparkles in a few colors that compliment the purples, and include the gold accents.
She's getting ready to sparkle under the stage lights at the Texas Burlesque Festival Friday, May 15th at the !
